ASHRA E MAJLIS at Hussaini Islamic Mission 19 Thornbury Road, TW7 4LQ will be held daily from 1st to 12th Moharram (19-30 July 2023).
Although H.I.M still supports the Majlis Ulema Shia's calendar, the ASHURA at Hussaini Islamic Mission will be observed on Saturday, 29 July.
This is because Aamal e Ashura are Mustahab and are not dependent on exact date (unlike Eid prayers), so observing Ashura on the same day as most other Imam Bargahs of London & Karbala will dispel any impression of fractions among shia muslims. As per advise of Ulema karam, this will give a message to the world that we are all united for the cause of Imam Hussain AS.
