👪
Parents & Guardians
You're welcome to stay on site. If you leave, please collect your child promptly at the end of the
session. Show your child's ticket upon entry.
⚠️ Please note: Both sessions are identical — please only book one session per
child. Safety limits will be strictly enforced once tickets sell out. Purchasing a ticket acts
as consent for your child to attend.
On arrival, parents will need to show their child's ticket and provide contact details, allergy
and medical information.
Please send your child with NUT FREE snacks and drinks in case they get hungry during
the session.
We kindly ask that you do not bring babies or toddlers with you. If they must attend,
please remain with them in the ladies' hall so as not to disrupt the event.
🔍 FAQs
Is this event for madressa students only?
Tickets are open to the entire HIM community — not only those children currently
attending madressa.
Can younger children attend?
Children from age 4 can attend, however activities are not pitched at this age group
and may not be suitable for 4–5 year olds. We cannot allow any child who has not yet started school.
Children aged 4–5 must have a supervising adult with them at all times.
Can older girls attend?
Older girls can attend, however, please consider whether the event would be suitable
for your daughter given the event is pitched at 6-12 year olds.
Can older boys attend?
Boys who have not yet become baligh are welcome to attend. Given the activities are
pitched at a particular age group, please consider whether the event would be suitable before booking.
What should my child wear?
All children should dress modestly. We kindly ask all girls to observe hijab.
What should my child bring?
Please send your child with NUT FREE snacks and drinks in case they
get hungry during the session.
Why are ticket numbers limited?
The organisers have requested a cap on attendance to ensure all children can fully
enjoy the experience and to maintain safety during the science demonstrations.
Can I bring babies or toddlers?
We kindly ask that you avoid bringing babies or toddlers. If they must come with you,
please remain in the ladies' hall to avoid disrupting the event.
Can my child attend both sessions?
Each session is identical, so we recommend attending only one. We wouldn't want the
children to get bored by seeing the same content twice!
What if my child can't attend on the day?
Please pass your ticket on to another child. Let HIM management know, and if there is
a waiting list they will offer the place to someone else. In this case, we will endeavour to refund your
ticket fee inshāAllah, but this cannot be guaranteed.
Why are tickets non-refundable?
HIM is heavily subsidising this event. Payments have been made upfront and in advance
to the science team, which is why we're unfortunately unable to offer refunds.
Will I receive a reminder?
A reminder will be sent via the HIM events number, but not to individual ticket
holders. Please add the date to your diary! 📅
What happens if the event is cancelled?
The event will only be cancelled for serious reasons, or if the hall is needed for a
more pressing matter such as a funeral. A message will be sent via the HIM events service and the event
will be rescheduled.
I still have questions — who can I contact?
Please contact us by email at
[email protected], or reach out to a member of
the HIM management team who will be happy to help.
