🔍 Frequently Asked Questions
Does my child need prior coding experience? +
Not at all! The workshop is tailored to be completely beginner-friendly while remaining engaging for children who may have tried basic coding before.
Does my child need to bring their own laptop? +
Yes, please bring a fully charged laptop along with its charger, as we are unable to provide laptops for this workshop. Please ensure the laptop is in good working order and fully charged beforehand, as charging options on-site will be very limited.
Can my child attend a session outside their age bracket? +
To keep the teaching pace comfortable and fair for everyone, we strictly request that children are booked into the session matching their exact age group.
Why are spaces strictly capped at 15 per session? +
This capacity limit was specifically requested by our event provider to ensure the instructors can give dedicated, high-quality attention to a limited number of children at a time.
Can I bring babies or toddlers? +
We kindly ask that you avoid bringing babies or toddlers. If they must come with you, please remain in the ladies' hall to avoid disrupting the event.
What should my child wear?
All children should dress modestly. We kindly ask all girls to observe hijab.
Is this event for madressa students only?
Tickets are open to the entire HIM community — not only those children currently attending madressa.
Can I take photographs or videos during the workshop? +
Parents are welcome to take photographs or videos of their own children only. Please ensure you have explicit permission from the event organisers before taking any footage.
I still have questions — who can I contact?
