Imaam Naqi (AS)

Imam al-Hadi (A) reported from his fathers that:

“Ameer al-Mumineen Ali ibn Abi Talib (A) has said that he (A) once heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) saying: 'When people shall be resurrected on the day of Judgement, a caller will call me: ‘O Messenger of Allah! Allah has permitted you to reward your lovers and the lovers of your progeny who have followed them for your sake; and opposed their enemies for your sake. You can reward them as you like’. I shall say: ‘My Lord! Paradise! Put them in whatever part of it You like. This is the praised estate, which You have promised’.” (Bihar al-Anwaar).

Imaam Hasan ibn Ali (al-Askari) (AS)

The Eleventh Imam: Hasan ibn ‘Ali (al-Askari) (AS)
Samarra (Surre Mun Ra’) was a garrison town about 60 miles north of Baghdad. River Euphrates flows in the middle of the town, and because of the surrounding hills a cool breeze keeps the area cooler in comparison to Baghdad. The word ‘Asker’ in Arabic is used for army. Our 11th Imam’s title became known as Askari, the one who lived all his life in a garrison town.

Who is Hussain (AS)?

A world of love, of morality, of compassion, is one worth striving for.  What’s more – it’s within our grasp. All we have to do is learn from the life of a truly inspirational man named Hussain.

Hussain was born in 620 AD to a family famed for their values of equality, love and peace. Raised by his grandfather Prophet Muhammad (PBUH & HF - the last prophet of Islam). Hussain was a figure known for his integrity, generosity of spirit and blindness to colour, social class and personal beliefs. It was for this reason that people flocked to him and his family.

Imam Musa al-Kadhim(A.S.)

Anecdotes of Imam Musa al-Kadhim(A.S.)

Modesty: One day Imam Musa Kadhim was passing by the tent of a Nomad who was a black man. He went up to him and said “Salam-Alaikum”, in a warm and friendly manner.

Upon leaving he said good-bye to him in a very kind manner with these words: “If there is anything I can do for you, I”m more than willing to do it”.
One of the followers of the Imam who saw this attitude said “Is it suitable for you, the son of the messenger of Allah, to sit and talk with a man of no reputation and make such an offer as: If you need me in any work, I”m more than willing to do it? Is it right for a man of great dignity to talk to a man like that?”.
The Imam replied, “This is one of Allah”s creatures. Allah has created all men equal. Besides, as a Muslim, he is our brother in faith. After all, life does not remain the same forever. One who needs help today may be the one who will be able to help us tomorrow when we”ll need help! If we don”t pay any attention to him today, one day when we may need him we will be embarrassed to ask him for help”.

In fact, Allah Almighty bestowed Fatima with a vast share of loftiness, and a high calibre of grandeur, which no other woman can possibly proclaim to have attained. She is one of the prominent people close to Allah, whose greatness was acknowledged by Heaven before the creation of mankind; and in whose regard verses from the Holy Qur’an, that are, and will be, read day and night until the Day of Resurrection arrives.
